The Pilates Method is a low impact form of exercise designed to teach effective breathing and mindful movement. It can enhance relaxation, whilst strengthening deep abdominal muscles that support your pelvic floor and the health of your spine. A General Pilates Mat Class is suitable for any age or fitness level, with all exercises modifiable for injuries, ailments or increased challenge. Expect to gain strength and flexibility, correct posture and relieve hip and back pain. Classes run at the Maleny Community Centre Verandah Room on Tuesdays from 9.15 – 10.15am.
